- Slim & Compact Design
The SonoAce R5 incorporates a wide range of ergonomic features into a simple and compact package. Weighing in at a total of just 52kg, with four swivel wheels and front and back handles for easy mobility, it offers portability and convenience without sacrificing performance. By utilising outstanding 3D color technology, its 15-inch LED monitor displays clear, easily-viewable images up to 640 x 450 pixels to aid increased diagnostic accuracy.

- Synthetic Aperture
The physical radio channel may present some limits to imaging which can be overcome by using Synthetic Aperture Control software. This method uses information from diverse sources to form a more better picture of the area under examination. It creates one single scan line by performing the TX and RX twice to create enhanced penetration and resolution. Synthetic Aperture Control technology complements conventional imaging to deliver a comprehensive picture and to aid accurate diagnosis.
- Streamlined Workflow through Shortcut Keys and Measurement Unit
The SonoAce R5 includes a number of keyboard and menu functions to accelerate and simplify operations. The Shortcut Key enables commonly-used obstetrics measurement items to be assigned, while the Autotext Setup function allows fast and easy data input. Several additional details have been carefully considered to contribute to streamlined workflow and increased productivity. These include the ability to display thumbnails of saved images on a side panel, a hibernation option to decrease booting speed, and a Body Marker function to aid rapid reference.
- Full Spectrum Imaging™ (FSI™)
Regardless of the TX setting, the FSI™ uses the entire radio frequency range and a customised probe to produce more comprehensive and reliable images. Broadening the range enables increased penetration and contrast resolution, ensuring better results for operators by reducing speckle and improving signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). This technology can also be applied to harmonic imaging to provide clinics with a more flexible range of diagnostic tools.

Speckle Reduction Filter™ (SRF™) improves image quality by reducing or eliminating the unnecessary echoes from ultrasound images.
